Drain excavation, repair and replacement
EMERGENCY NUMBER: 07889 003429
Whilst we always seek to use trenchless technologies for drain repair, major problems could require excavation. You’ll want to choose drainage engineers who can guarantee a high-quality job, so get in touch with Cornwall Drains today.
When is drain excavation necessary?
1. Your drains are badly damaged. If patch repairs, relining and jetting aren’t enough to repair the issue, we may need to get down to the pipework to repair or replace it.
2. Repairs needed over a large area. For those large-scale repairs such as replacing whole sections of pipe, we’ll need to excavate to access the drain
3. Structural work is required. Collapsed drains and structural alteration works will require drain excavation.
There are instances when excavating your underground pipework is the only viable way to repair a damaged or defective drainage system. So when may drain excavation be required?

What process do we follow?
1. CCTV drain survey to determine the condition of your drains
2. Excavation using specialised equipment and a skilled workforce
3. Repair and replacement of the affected piping
4. Backfilling of the site and restoration of the existing paving
5. Any aftercare that may be required following job completion
